The Relationship With Yourself

Founded on the belief that every girl and woman has a sunflower within her that’s waiting for a time to confidently shine.

For thousands of years, sunflowers have been instinctively following and absorbing the sun’s life-giving warmth, so they may make daily, incremental transformations to become the stunning blooms that dazzle and inspire.

Feeding from the soil and cleansing in the rain, they are nurtured by all weather conditions to reliably stand tall; becoming beacons of hope for all to behold. You are a sunflower. Are you ready to stand tall in your authentic power?

Hayley Gravener

We all have a story.

Your story matters and deserves to be honoured. Even the messy, painful, and sad parts of your story deserve to be told.

I have worked with women, men, families, and married couples across many cultures and backgrounds over the past 14 years. I have seen the devastating effects of grief and loss and the negative impacts of childhood abuse, violence, maltreatment, abandonment, and serious neglect in early childhood and adolescence’s.

Humans suffer deep emotional wounds and internal turmoil due to unprocessed emotions linked to relational trauma, grief and loss, and unhealed wounds from their most significant relationships growing up. There is a fear of expressing emotions due to vulnerability, and the pain associated with never feeling heard, wanted, loved, or accepted.

At Be Healed Specialist Counselling I provide women and married couples a safe, trusting, and nurturing space to share their life stories. It is important to feel comfortable to express and accept themselves in the real and raw parts of themselves.

I offer a place where compassion, warmth, and acceptance are the foundations of our time together, as this is when true healing happens. I will support you to break off the shame, guilt, and blame of what happened to you, and support you to recreate a new story. One with hope, peace, and freedom.

Healing is a process and journey yet, you have come this far. Keep taking small steps to do this for yourself as your future self will thank you for it.

Let’s talk and figure this out together.

Presentation: Healthy and Respectful Relationships

“I recently attended the Healthy and Respectful Relationships presentation by Hayley Gravener at the Mordialloc Community Centre and was so impressed by the delivery and trauma-informed understanding that Hayley shared with all participants.

This workshop created space for participants to engage in a safe and nurturing environment whilst helping build awareness to recognise unsafe behaviours in familial and inter-personal relationships. It was clear from the response in the room that many participants gained a lot out of the session and went away with a sense of confidence.

Hayley has such an engaging style and delivered her presentation with a lot of warmth and kindness. It was such a pleasure to be part of this and share in learning, open discussion and healing.

Thank you Hayley for generously sharing lessons that will assist the work I am doing as a foster carer”.

Mordialloc Community Centre

The Mordialloc Community Centre was thrilled and honoured to welcome Hayley Gravener to our recent Health and Wellbeing forum with a focus on Healthy and Respectful Relationships. Hayley facilitated an informed and comprehensive presentation that allowed for audience discussion and thoughtful reflection.

Hayley responded enthusiastically to the brief that we gave her and catered a presentation that was respectful and appropriate to the demographic of the audience and catered well to both our visual and auditory learners.

Hayley was an absolute joy to work with, her spirited energy mixed with a calmness and genuine compassion and kindness for others made for a truly inspiring and enjoyable presentation.

Thank you Hayley, we are so grateful to have met you and look forward to welcoming you back to Mordialloc Community Centre in the very near future.

Groomed To Go - Workshop

Thank you so much for the absolute life-changing work that you do Hayley.
I wish I had some constructive feedback for you, but I believe it was perfect and you are doing an amazing job and so obviously have a gift for this work. My only suggestion would be to make it maybe 90 minutes so people have a chance to ask you lots of questions, it seems like the topic sparks a lot of interest. I also think these sessions should be in secondary schools and universities, they would be invaluable for young people starting out in life.
